not enough books and too much of computer/tv/movies that
imagines everything for you...
i just brought a group of kids out on Sunday on a Sungei Buloh walk
with their familes... and parents' attitudes really reflect on the
kids.
One group of friends brought their kids out about 6 of them.. all
armed with journals to encourage them to write down, draw what they
learn. OThers carries kids to look at flowers more clearly, take
photos to remember what they saw on the trip... and the kids were
so filled with wonder squealing and excited
But another group my friends helped on complained it was too slow,
too long, too hot, nothign to see, boring. and of course the kids
get impatient, fidgety and distracted. And believe, there is
nothing to see in Singapore.
